HOT WAX, the Bay Area all styles all vinyl party, continues 3rd Thursdays of the month at 222 Hyde in San Francisco. This time around, you’re in for a real treat as we present to you and yours the HOT WAX Groove Merchant Session. The crew behind the register of not only our favorite local record store, but beatmakers and tastemakers worldwide, will be behind the decks on this special night to help celebrate the Groove Merchant’s 20th anniversary this year. Cool Chris, Vinnie Esparza, B Cause and Jon Blunck not only are nice at the shop but nice on the selections, bringing the rarest soul, funk, disco, psych, boogie, reggae and Latin from all over the world and putting it down on wax at discerning dancefloors all over the city. Expect to hear top shelf tunes that will keep you movin’ all night long from our good friends…who just happen to be longtime collector connoisseurs and party rockers with an ear for what’s poppin’.
